The eSecu FIDO2 Security Key is a hardware authenticator that complies with the FIDO2 standard and the FIDO U2F standard, developed by Excelsecu itself. By using an eSecu FIDO2 security key, users no longer need to memorize and type in passwords, and no longer have to worry about their account information being stolen by phishing, hackers or viruses. This solution uses private/public key (asymmetric) cryptography to provide strong authentication and can be used in FIDO2 or U2F enabled services and applications for two-factor authentication, multi-factor authentication and passwordless authentication (fingerprint key only).
